WTT AT THE PASEO
LEAGUE
We are excited to announce that registration is now open for our next event, WTT at the Paseo Friday Night Summer Tennis. For this event, we will be capping registration at 4 teams per division (3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5). Everyone is welcome and you don't have to belong to the Paseo to play WTT. The Friday Night Summer League will begin June 17th and will be played every two weeks (some exceptions). We will not be scheduling matches on 4th of July weekend to allow everyone time to spend with Family and Friends. Tentative dates are 6/17, 6/24, 7/8, 7/22, 8/5 and 8/12. This schedule is flexible and can be adjusted to an off week if teams have conlicts.
The matches will be played at 6:00 PM and 8:PM. Divisions are 3.0 - 4.5. Teams may consist of NTRP levels from 2.5 – 5.0. Please see the WTT web site for information about how team levels are assigned. Please remember that teams may consist of 4-10 people and must have a minimum of 2 men and 2 ladies.
Each team will have a minimum of 4-6 matches. Some matches may be against the next level (up or down) based on the number of teams in each division. Each division winner will have the opportunity to compete at a WTT National Qualifying Event for up to one year after the completion of the tournament.
You may either register as part of a team or contact me to assist you in putting a team together.
Registration Fee is $45.00 (refundable if we fail to place you on a team). The up front fee include all court costs, balls, awards. This league has a match fee which will be paid only by those team members playing. Each playing participant will receive a drink ticket for every match.
